Autodesk Project Vasari Retirement

Autodesk Project Vasari is an easy-to-use, expressive design tool for creating building concepts. Vasari goes further, with integrated analysis for energy and carbon, providing design insight where the most important design decisions are made.

Vasari is focused on conceptual building design using both geometric and parametric modelling. It supports performance-based design via integrated energy modelling and analysis features. Once you’re ready to move the design to production, simply bring your Vasari design into the Revit platform, ensuring clear execution of design intent.

Based on the feedback provided by everyone who participated in the Beta, Autodesk have determined that the best path forward is to create and support integrated software tools that provide more flexible modelling and analysis on newer platforms, including web and mobile.

So… the bad news is the Vasari public beta is scheduled to retire on May 31, 2015. After this date, Vasari will no longer run or be available for download, however, don’t despair. Many of the key features found in Vasari are available now in current Autodesk offerings.
