Our experience is reflected in the skills of everyone who works here. Our trainers, consultants and engineers invariably come from the Product Design & Lifecycle or Building & Infrastructure sectors they support; they have been product designers, architects, technicians, engineers, construction managers and project managers. They share your challenges because they’ve personally faced them. They have the passion to explore, assess and evaluate the many new and varied developments in products and processes taking place in our industry today. Our goal is to deliver these insights to our customers to allow them to make informed decisions.

Allison Gloude

Senior Solution Specialist

Allison is a Senior Solutions Specialist on Symetri’s Architecture team. Her responsibilities include overseeing the BIM management and coordination process, providing technical support, training, and managing the model exchange for various Microdesk clients. She has also worked on the content creation team producing complex parametric Revit families made to manufacturer specification standards. Before joining Microdesk, Allison served as a Design Professional at HOK where she worked as the designated BIM coordinator for several large hospital projects in the Chicago area.

Alvi Aliaj

Solutions Specialist - Architecture

As a member of the Architecture & Engineering team, Alvi has experience throughout the architectural field working as a Designer, BIM Coordinator and Computational specialist for several renowned international firms. With Symetri Alvi provides assistance for content generation, content management as well as automation and computational services. Alvi has a deep interest in the cutting edge of the AEC industry, seeking new and advanced methods to improve and expand the design capabilities of firms throughout the practice.

Andrew Jackowitz

Strategic Implementation Manager

Andrew is a part of the MEP Solutions Specialist team and the Project Management team. His responsibilities include managing and leading BIM Implementation project initiatives, including strategy, BIM workflow optimization and standardization, training initiatives, and support services to clients across the AECO industry. Specifically, Andrew has led several MEP firms through the BIM Implementation process and has extensive professional instruction experience.

Ashley Tisue

AECO Strategic Implementation Manager

Ashley is a part of the Architecture Solutions Specialist team where she does work for Microdesk clients nation-wide, from those along the Eastern seaboard to those based in Los Angeles and San Francisco metro areas. Her responsibilities include overseeing the BIM management and coordination process, provide technical support, and managing the model exchange between consultants and clients. Before joining Microdesk, Ashley worked at OTJ Architects as a BIM Manager responsible for overseeing the BIM coordination process and model development for a wide variety of projects.

Aubrey Lynch

Solutions Specialist - Architecture

As a member of the Architecture & Engineering team, Aubrey is responsible for providing technical training, project mentoring and support, and standards development services to clients up and down the U.S. East Coast. Before joining Symetri, she worked as a licensed architect with a focus on complex public transit and commercial projects. Her first-hand knowledge of the design and construction industry paired with skills in Revit, AutoCAD, and other popular AEC software allows her to optimize workflows for a wide variety of projects and teams.

Brandon Townsend

Senior Solution Specialists - Architecture

As a Senior Solutions Specialist with a strong background in content development, Brandon brings a unique blend of technical expertise and creative proficiency to the table having worked as a former Designer. With a meticulous attention to detail, Brandon excels at leveraging BIM software to create visually compelling and data-rich models to fit the standards of the client. Additionally, his ability to translate complex ideas into user-friendly content allows him to effectively communicate and train teams on BIM processes. Bryan is part of the Architecture Solutions Specialist team and is responsible for providing technical support, consulting, training, and implementation services to our architectural clients. Prior to joining Microdesk, Bryan worked at KTGY Architecture and Planning as a BIM Specialist and Kephart where he implemented BIM technologies and assisted in content development.

Chad Dunsby

Solution Specialist, Architecture

Changyoul is a Consultant in the AEC industry with a bachelor’s degree in architecture from The City College of New York. With his expertise as an Architectural Designer in major design firms, Changyoul has successfully led projects with a focus on Building Information Modeling. He is passionate for innovation and efficiency extends to his adeptness in utilizing various architectural design technologies. Through his comprehensive knowledge and practical experience, he consistently delivers outstanding results, pushing the boundaries of architectural design, and embracing advancements in the industry.

Christopher Edmonston

Solutions Specialist

Christopher’s prior project management and consulting experience across a variety of project types along with his proficient knowledge of BIM workflows and model data analysis, he can swiftly assess project goals and leverage BIM expertise to achieve them. Natural leadership and strategic planning skills allow him to efficiently integrate technology, processes, and training to address unique organizational needs. Recognizing the value of dedicated support, he understands the significance of a BIM partner to stay updated on technology, troubleshooting, and identifying new opportunities. Notably, at Symetri, he has served esteemed firms including SOM, SpaceX, DPR, and Walt Disney Imagineering, among others.

Carlo Jose "CJ" Guzman De Jesus

Senior Solution Specialist

CJ is part of the Solutions Specialist team and is responsible for providing technical support, consulting, training, and implementation services to our clients. Prior to joining Microdesk, CJ worked at Formation Association where he managed multiple projects and staff remotely, maintained client relationships and promoted technology advancement. He has worked with Architects, Contractors / Estimators, Fabricators, and Design Build entities.

CJ is a licensed architect in Florida and New York. He holds a Bachelor of Architecture at the University of Miami.

Damian Roman

Solutions Specialist

Damian is a part of the Architecture Solutions Specialist team. His responsibilities include overseeing the BIM management and coordination process, provide technical support, and manage the model exchange for various Microdesk clients. Before joining Symetri (formerly Microdesk), Damian worked at the Sullivan Architectural Group as a Junior Level Architectural Designer where he was responsible for performing specific portions of AEC design assignments and the development of work details.

Elizabeth Panzarino

Strategic Implementation Manager

Elizabeth is part of the Architecture and Engineering team and is responsible for providing implementation services, technical training, project mentoring, and standards development. Elizabeth has provided various BIM workflows and strategies on a variety of architectural typologies including residential, interiors, corporate offices, aquariums, and museums. Prior to working at Symetri, Elizabeth worked at Carol Kurth Architects + Interiors, providing digital modelling and rendering for high end residential projects.

Elizabeth is a registered Architect in New York and holds a Bachelor of Science in Architecture with a minor in Sustainability, as well as a Master of Architecture from Roger Williams University.

Erica Compton

Senior Project Manager

Erica is part of the Project Management team and is responsible for leading project initiatives with clients providing consulting, implementation strategy, training, and technical support services to Architects, Engineers, and Construction operations. Her background in Structural Engineering and Corporate IT/BIM Services has equipped her with a wide range of experience to support organizations interested in leveraging Building Information Modeling technologies. In 2022, Erica was awarded the Autodesk Partner Award for Outstanding Professional Services for Microdesk project management.

Erica Concolino

Senior Strategic Implementation Manager

Erica brings a diverse portfolio of expertise spanning architectural design, design technologies, construction administration, building systems coordination, to IT and network infrastructure, cloud-based SAAS, hardware programming, and enterprise deployments. Erica is part of the Consulting team and is responsible for providing technical support, consulting, training, and implementation services for architectural and building engineering clients. Erica joined Symetri (formerly Microdesk) in 2019 from Lee H. Skolnick Architecture + Design Partnership where she was an Architectural Designer and Technology Manager.

Erica holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering and a minor in Applied Mathematics from New Jersey Institute of Technology, and previously studied architecture at The Cooper Union for the Advancement of Science and Art.

Eslam Chalabi

Solutions Specialist

Eslam is a Solutions Specialist on the Symetri (formerly Microdesk) Architecture team and focuses on providing technical support, consulting, and training services to our architectural and building engineering firms. Eslam has work experience in The States, Egypt and the Middle East. Currently, Eslam works with Robert A.M. Stern Architects helping them build information modelling implementation for various projects such as Mansfield Road and The Lake.

Eslam holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Architecture from the Higher Technological Institute.

Estefania Barrios

Solutions Specialist

Estefania is part of the Architecture Solutions Specialist team and is responsible for providing technical support, consulting, content creation, and implementation services for architectural clients. Prior to joining Symetri in 2022, Estefania worked as a designer and assistant project manager in Florida and in Washington DC. She is also an active Research Associate at the Center for Hydro-generated Urbanism at the University of Florida.

Estefania has a Bachelor’s in design in Architecture and a dual Master’s in architecture and Building Construction Management from the University of Florida.

Evan Cerilli

Strategic Implementation Manager

Formerly an Architect at Union Studio Architecture and Stephen Moser Architect, Evan comes to Symetri (formerly Microdesk) with various and consulting roles at esteemed organizations. His extensive experience in Revit coupled with his project management skills allow him to assume the responsibilities of assessing business goals. Natural leadership and strategic planning capabilities permit him to effectively integrate the right mix of technology, processes, and training to address an organization’s unique needs. Evan understands that maintaining a long-term, successful BIM strategy requires the dedicated support of a partner to stay current on technology, troubleshoot issues and find additional opportunities to leverage BIM.

Felix Cambou

Senior Solution Specialist

Felix has spent the past decade with Symetri (formerly Microdesk) focused on various 3D solutions for the AECO industry, from construction documentation and model coordination to fully immersive game engine technology. Combining visual scripting, virtual reality, software interoperability and data rich 3D modelling, he has brought quality control and pre-construction visualization to a higher level of excellence. Felix has been developing workflows borrowed from completely disparate industries to come up with innovative solutions pushing the boundaries of construction.

Frank Lindemann

Solution Specialist

Frank is originally from the Midwest and graduated from the University of Kansas with a Masters of Architecture in 2009. After graduation, he moved to New York where he gained 13 years of professional experience working at architecture firms like FXCollaborative, KPF, & H3 Hardy Collaboration. He has experience in Cultural, Academic, Office, & Residential typologies, with his primary role as a BIM Manager. Frank currently works remotely from Denver, CO and is excited to help architectural firms advance their digital practices, office standards, workflow efficiencies, & sustainability analysis as a Solutions Specialist in Architecture at Symetri.

Geoffrey A. Tears

Geoffrey is a Senior Solutions Specialist at Symetri US. In his time at Symetri US he has worked on many diverse projects and client engagements. Geoffrey has expertise in many realms including BIM, Visualization, AR/VR, GIS, Sustainable Design and Analysis, and Building Lifecycle Analysis.

As the Associate Director of MEP, Jacob brings a wealth of technical expertise and leadership skills to the table. Throughout his career, Jacob has demonstrated a strong aptitude for problem-solving, a passion for innovation and a thought leader for his team. His background in Engineering and BIM/VDC Services has equipped him with a wide range of experience to support companies interested in leveraging Building Information Modeling technologies. In his current position, Jacob is committed to driving excellence and achieving organizational goals. James Bianco

Solution Specialist

As a member of the Architecture & Engineering team, James is responsible for providing technical training, project mentoring and support, and standards development services to clients. Before joining Symetri, he worked as a BIM Manager for an A & E firm on Long Island, NY advising and implementing various BIM workflows and procuring latest technologies for the entire company.

Jason Stevens

Senior Strategic Implementation Manager

With over 10 years’ experience working directly from a BIM perspective, Jason is looking to expand his abilities to manage increasingly complex projects and workflows. This includes assisting the AEC industry in understanding and implementing the latest in design technology. He holds an interest in and possess unique skills including knowledge in computational design, energy modeling and clash detection. Professionally, utilizing a Master of Architecture degree, an additional 5 years of experience in architecture and its related fields have given him valuable insight into the challenges many designers face today.

James "Jim" Cowan

Solution Specialist

Jim worked as a registered architects (RIBA) then as a registered Landscape Architect (ASLA) with a focus on sustainability and the technology behind efficient design. He is a Canadian Commonwealth Scholar. He has design awards for UK-based projects. For Symetri, he produces sustainability training, webinars, and custom classes. His focus is on custom project templates and advanced Revit, for both Architecture and Landscape Design. This is so he can address issues of energy use, carbon sequestering and biodiversity. Project deliverables are architectural, facility management, structural and landscape. Before joining Symetri (formerly Microdesk), Jim worked for Ideate Inc., Autodesk Inc., as an education specialist, working with 15 universities, and for Arizona DOT. He identifies key technology trends and works to integrate all disciplines into a one team approach. He has 50+ certificates, is a published author and an Autodesk University Speaker.

Kari Schutte

Solutions Specialist

Formerly the Director of Design & Engineering at H2I Group, Kari comes to Symetri with extensive experience in AutoCAD, Revit and Navisworks. Natural leadership and strategic planning capabilities permit her to effectively integrate the right mix of technology, processes, and training to address an organization’s unique needs. Kari understands that maintaining a long-term, successful BIM strategy requires the dedicated support of a partner to stay current on technology, troubleshoot issues, and look for additional opportunities to leverage BIM.

Kari holds a Bachelor of Arts in Architectural Studies from University of Washington.

Kelly Schubert

Solutions Specialist

Kelly graduated from Rice University with a Bachelor of Architecture and went on to work as a designer at many top tier architecture firms including SHoP, Weiss Manfredi, Pei Cobb Freed, and Gensler. Kelly has a background in architecture, detailing, and teaching. As a BIM consultant with over 9 years of experience in Revit, AutoCAD, and model management, she is detail oriented and passionate about creating efficiency and smart design, building models to change easily and quickly in fast pace projects. Kelly creates a learning environment with an approachable one-on-one teaching style while striving to help each client team learn and love design technology as she does.

Klosedo Muco

AEC Support Specialist

Klosedo Muco is a Solution Specialists – AEC focusing in tech support. He is responsible for providing technical support, training, and Building Information Modeling implementation services to our architectural and engineering clients. Before joining Symetri (formerly Microdesk), Klosedo was a mechanical designer at Bruce Brooks, where he learned how to draft and use Revit and AutoCAD, and where he started to become more comfortable with the software. Klosedo Muco received his Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering from the Drexel University.

Louise Buchanon

Strategic Implementation Manager

Louise works as an AECO Strategic Implementation Manager at Symetri (formerly Microdesk). She has been with the company for 15+ years and was hired as an Architectural Solutions Specialist. She has worked with clients such as HOK, Perkins + Will, Gensler, Studios Architecture, Margulies Perruzzi Architects Tufts University, Southland Industries, and Merillat with technical support, training, product evaluations, recommendations, implementations, on-site services, Content Development, ACC/BIM 360 Implementation, and standards development for various Autodesk products. Before joining the company, Louise worked as a Senior CAD Design Manager at Brooks Pharmacy’s corporate headquarters.

Marc Desmarais

Associate Director, Architecture

Marc is an Associate Director of Architecture at Symetri and an experienced Project Manager with a demonstrated 20+-year history working in the AECO industry. He has successfully delivered many BIM Implementations and trainings for a number of clients across the US. Marc has strong proficiency in today’s design technologies along with a diverse knowledge of best practices, procedures, and workflows. He holds a Bachelor of Architecture from Roger Williams University, School of Art, Architecture and Historic Preservation.

Mariana Barbosa

Solutions Specialist

Mariana has over 10+ years of experience in the design and construction industry. With extensive proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD, as well as strong project management skills, she effectively assesses business goals. Mariana's strategic planning abilities enable her to integrate technology, processes, and training tailored to meet an organization's specific needs. She recognizes the importance of a dedicated partner in maintaining a successful long-term BIM strategy, providing support, staying updated on technology, resolving issues, and exploring additional opportunities.

Mariana holds a Master of Science in Construction Management from California State University East Bay and a Bachelor of Architecture and Urban Planning from the Federal University of Espirito Santo.

Marisa Johnson

Solution Specialist

Marisa is part of Symetri’s consultant team where she works with architecture firms in the New England region as a BIM Specialist. Having joined Symetri in 2021 as a BIM specialist, she brings extensive expertise in all phases of the design process from her previous role as an architectural designer, specializing in school designs. Marisa's primary focus at Symetri is collaborating with architecture firms as a trusted consultant, helping them develop BIM standards and creating efficient Revit families.

Matt Clough

Solution Specialist, MEP

Matt is a MEP Solution Specialist with a background in mechanical engineering and an advocate for creative solutions to design and modelling problems. He approaches challenges with a strong focus on understanding systems and delivering process improvements and innovation. Known for creating effective BIM standards and delivering practical training curriculums, he excels in identifying pain points, providing automation solutions, and bringing engineering concerns into the BIM discussion.

Michelle Cabrera

Technical Support Manager

Michelle is the Technical Support Manager at Symetri US. Her responsibilities include overseeing the Technical Support team as well as providing Technical Support as needed for our clients. Michelle started in 2001 as a part of the Technical Support team for one of our clients, the Port Authority of NY & NJ.

Nicholas Dareau

Solution Specialist, Architecture

Nicholas is a licensed architect on the Architecture Solutions Specialist team where he works closely with clients to help achieve project deliverables utilizing BIM workflows. Before joining Symetri, Nicholas worked at award winning firms in New York City where he had the opportunity to collaborate on projects ranging from multi-family residential, mixed-use masterplans, and high-end residential interiors. His industry knowledge and expertise in design software brings invaluable support to each client.

Paul Deyo

Solution Specialist, Architecture

Paul is a Solutions Specialist in Architecture with an expertise in Building Information Modeling processes and design with experience in Reality Capture and Point Cloud manipulation. He provides technical support, training, implementation, and consulting services to architectural and building engineering clients. Prior to joining Symetri, Paul served as an Architectural Technician and BIM/CAD Manager at an engineering firm in Northeast New York that specialized in industrial, municipal, general & higher education, and general office building design.

Paul holds a Bachelor of Architectural Building Sciences from New England Institute of Technology in Warwick, Rhode Island.

Pavel Regus

Strategic Implementation Manager

Pavel is a highly accomplished BIM Manager with an impressive track record spanning over a decade in the design industry. Holding a Master of Architecture degree from the Boston Architectural College, he possesses expertise in a wide range of software applications utilized within the architectural field. Recognizing the value and potential of Revit, Pavel swiftly honed his skills, becoming an expert in its workflows and tools. Prateek Chitnis

Strategic Implementation Manager

Prateek Chitnis is part of Symetri's consultants’ team and product specialist team for Naviate Cloud Manager providing clients with demonstrations, technical support, training, implementation, and consulting services. He has worked with clients like Space X, Ulteig, The Dennis Group, New York Presbyterian, Columbia University, and Lighthouse Electric. Prior to joining Symetri (formerly Microdesk), Prateek was a BIM/MEP Engineer at Singleton Electric where he gained expertise in Revit and Navisworks for Virtual Design and Construction (VDC) of Electrical projects.

Rafael Ayala

Solution Specialist, Architecture

Raymond Langill II

Solution Specialist, Architecture

Ray is an accomplished structural engineer with seven years of experience as a design engineer, currently serving as a consultant. As a seasoned professional, he excels in providing comprehensive solutions to clients' diverse structural engineering needs. Ray's expertise encompasses extensive training in Revit - structural, Autodesk Robot Structural analysis, as well as offering invaluable assistance in structural design, drafting, and modeling. He possesses a profound understanding of steel, masonry, concrete, and wood structures, skillfully evaluating seismic, wind, snow, and other dynamic forces. Ray's practical and seasoned perspective as a skilled design engineer enables him to cater to a broad range of clients effectively.

Romer Inoa

Senior Electrical Infrastructure Consultant

Romer brings over 25 years of comprehensive experience as a Senior Electrical Infrastructure Consultant. With a passion for electrical engineering and a deep understanding of infrastructure systems, Romer is dedicated to optimizing and enhancing the electrical systems for projects he works on. With his knowledge and experience, he designs diverse projects ranging from commercial buildings to industrial facilities.

Sam Mandal

Strategic Implementation Manager

Sam is part of the MEP consulting team and is responsible for providing pre-sales, consulting, implementation strategy, training, and technical support services to Engineers and Construction clients. His background as an Electrical Engineer and experience in design consulting industry prior to joining Symetri, has provided him with an in depth and hands on understanding clients have in optimizing their design technology strategy and usage of BIM.

Sana Nassar

Associate Director, Project Management

Sana is a seasoned engineer with more than 10 years of experience in engineering and technology. As the Associate Director of the PMO, Sana leads Symetri’s Project Management Office (PMO) to ensure customer satisfaction by establishing proper project and portfolio management workflows and processes. Sana offers strategic insights to organizations and assists them with implementing BIM technologies and processes into their design and construction workflows. In her role, she offers advice to clients on future technology, process-related improvements, and project workflows. Sana has a proven track record of successful project delivery, and is passionate about improving project management practices, both internally and externally. As the PMO lead, Sana oversees the project management process including governance, team leadership, tracking and monitoring, prioritization, communication, and quality control.

Sana received a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Electric and Computer Engineering from the American University of Beirut.

Sophie Laskowski

Solution Specialist, Architecture

Formerly a BIM Manager at Charles Hilton Architects, Sophie came to Symetri (formerly Microdesk) with various architectural roles at esteemed organizations. Her extensive experience in Revit and AutoCAD coupled with her project management skills allow her to assume the responsibilities of assessing business goals. Natural leadership and strategic planning capabilities permit her to effectively integrate the right mix of technology, processes, and training to address an organization’s unique needs. Sophie understands that maintaining a long-term, successful BIM strategy requires the dedicated support of a partner to stay current on technology, troubleshoot issues, and look for additional opportunities to leverage BIM.

Taryn Bates

Strategic Implementation Manager

Anthony began his 15+ year career in Construction and Design within the HVAC field. Transitioning from Engineering consulting to Virtual design and Fabrication was a natural progression as Revit became the primary tool for BIM modelling. He has solidified his experience in Revit, Navisworks, Autodesk Cloud services, 3D Laser scanning and BIM360.

Arthur is part of the MEP Solutions Specialist team where he is responsible for providing technical support, training, implementation, and consulting services to various clients. He assists in Revit content creation and coordination for various types of projects. Additionally, he has served in BIM model development on large, based projects throughout the lifecycle of a building. Prior to joining the team, Brian was an Engineering Drafting and BIM Coordinator at Precision BIM where he converted plumbing, sanitary and HVAC design drawings into fabrication parts and shop drawings using AutoCAD and Revit.

Before joining the team at Symetri, Carlie was a VDC Engineer at Holder Construction where she led coordination meetings with design and project teams.

AECO Strategic Implementation Manager

Chris is a part of the AECO Strategic Implementation Management team, where he is responsible for providing technical support, training, implementation, and consulting services to various Symetri clients. Prior to joining Microdesk (now Symetri), Chris worked as a CAD/BIM Technician for Staff Electric Co., where he completed electrical design and drafting in Revit. Chris holds a Bachelor of Science in Technology Management from Herzing University.

Darren Gotham

VDC Fabrication Specialist

Darren is a Virtual Design and Construction (VDC) Fabrication Specialist at Symetri responsible for creating and leading construction projects helping clients with the construction, coordination, and fabrication process, providing technical support, and managing Revit BIM models and the relationship between consultants and clients. Darren has over 25 years’ experience modeling, coordinating, and consulting on MEP projects. Darren is also a Veteran of the United States Marine Corps.

Hailing from Chicago, Illinois, Eric embarked on a remarkable journey by joining the US Navy, which exposed him to diverse cultures and experiences. Later, he pursued higher education and obtained a bachelor's degree in construction project management. Throughout his academic journey, he acquired proficiency in utilizing Autodesk products and comprehending electrical systems to meticulously design commercial buildings, adhering to the stringent requirements of the electrical code.

Here at Symetri he is a AECO Strategic Implementation Manager. In this role, he actively contributes to the organization's endeavors by effectively implementing strategic plans and initiatives within the architecture, engineering, construction, and operations (AECO) domain.

Faye Ning

Project Manager

Faye clarifies our client’s needs, gives direction to the consulting teams, and supports and manages our professional performance to accomplish deliverables on time to meet client’s expectations. Prior to her Project Management role, Faye was a Solution Specialist and a Senior BIM Consultant, specializing in supporting client’s BIM processes in pre-construction and construction phases and provided strategic and technical services to facilitate their work efficiency and effectiveness.

Faye has her PMP and LEED AP BD+C certifications and holds a Master of Science in Civil Engineering from University of Southern California. She is currently pursuing a Master of Business Administration degree at University of California – Berkeley.

Larry "Lee" Casados

Solution Specialist, MEP

Lee has over 20 years of experience in the AECO industry, from working on various initiatives such as Fire Alarm Drafting and Design of commercial buildings, schools, hospitals, to residential sites. Later, he transitioned into electrical engineering and design with Corey Electrical Engineering, where he learned how to design electrical systems for different phases of construction.

In 2016, I joined Dynalectric CO to obtain more hands-on experience regarding fieldwork and construction; over the course of two and a half years at Symetri, I've been able to gain valuable experience and skill set within my capacity as a Consultant/ Solutions Specialist, MEP. Through these roles, I've honed my responsibility in detail drafting and designing techniques, utilizing innovative engineering skills and tools to execute any given project.

Luc Wing

Luc has made it his mission and promote integrating sustainable solutions and mindsets into BIM throughout the lifecycle of a project. Luc assists firms support, promote and participate with the 2030 initiative. Melanie Ramos

Solutions Specialist, Electrical

Melanie is an experience BIM modeler in creating 3D coordinated electrical systems. She has a strong skill set in Revit and AutoCAD, and other design software. She graduated with a BFA in Interior Design from the Fashion Institute of Technology, in New York. Since then, has worked on large commercial office spaces such as One World Trade. She currently lives in Phoenix, Arizona where she specializes in electrical consulting for data centers such as Intel and Meta.

Michael Hughes

VDC Fabrication Specialist

Michael is a Virtual Design and Construction (VDC) Specialist at Symetri responsible for helping clients with the construction coordination process, providing technical support, and managing the model exchange between consultants and clients. Before joining the team, Michael was a BIM/CAD Designer at North American Mechanical and Vita Builders where he was responsible for the coordination of various HVAC and Piping design projects, converted duct and piping layouts using Revit MEP, and more.

Michael holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Liberal Studies from Weber State University and an Associate of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering Drafting from Herzing University.

Michael Marsh

Solution Specialist, MEP

Michael is a MEP Solution Specialist at Symetri. Currently residing in Austin, Texas. Born into a military family Michael was exposed to a diversity of cultures and experiences. After graduation he joined the Marine Corp and later the Army. He started his career at LCRA doing Sub-station As-builts. After which he worked in the Telecom and AV industry for several years.

In 2003 began his almost 20-year career in the Electrical Construction Industry. He has worked with multiple companies on high end commercial projects. From detailer, designer, engineer, coordinator, QA/QC and BIM Manager, he's done it all.

Michael Croom

Vice President of Consulting, Construction

Mike is an experienced BIM Consultant and Project Manager and leads the Construction Consulting Team at Symetri. He is responsible for establishing strategic plans, policies, and procedures at all levels of the consulting organization to ensure that the Symetri team can exceed client needs and expectations. His team provides BIM consulting services for our construction clients. These opportunities include workflow evaluations & recommendations, project management, technical support, software training, technology implementation, BIM standards and template development.

Mitchell is a part of the MEP Solutions Specialist team at Symetri where he is responsible for providing technical support, training, implementation and consulting services to various clients. Prior to joining our team, Mitchell was a BIM Modeler at Rosendin Electric where he designed and modeled 2D/3D electrical equipment using Revit, Navisworks, Revizto, and CAD.

Mohammad is a part of the MEP Solutions Specialist team at Symetri where he is responsible for providing technical support, training, implementation and consulting services to various clients. Prior to joining our team, Mohammad was a Virtual Design and Construction Engineer at Cannon & Wendt Electric where he gained expertise in BIM 360 and Revit.

Arizona-native, Nathaniel has been a Electrical Revit Model specialist for over 15 years. He attended ITT Technical Institute to pursue his career and acquired a CAD Drafter & Design associate degree. From there Nathaniel started scaling his career as a Electrical Revit modeler and has worked in various industries such as Mining, Healthcare, Industrial, Government. In his current role as a Solution Specialist on the MEP team with Symetri US, he provides support with Electrical Revit modelling for clients.

Richard Cisneros

VDC Fabrication Specialist

Richard is a VDC Fabrication Specialist with Symetri. With his field experience as a pipe fitter and his VDC experience he models and coordinates HVAC piping systems with precision that can be installed and or prefabricated. He can work with complicated systems such as steam, refrigeration, condenser water, heating hot water, chilled water, as well as some other services like med gas, natural gas and domestic water systems. He loves the challenges of complex mechanical rooms. Some examples of projects he has worked on are hospitals, data centers, stadiums, high rise offices, high rise resorts, and more.

Ryan is a part of the MEP Solutions Specialist team at Symetri. His duties include providing technical support, training, implementation and consulting services to various clients. Before joining Symetri (formerly Microdesk), Ryan worked at Giovanetti Shulman Associates as an Electrical Designer and Revit/AutoCAD Draftsman on projects including the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Hollywood, FL and the Stadium Casino in Philadelphia, PA.

As a Solutions and Application Engineer, in the Manufacturing business unit, here at Symetri, Brian is responsible for providing direction to the technical team, providing technical support to our customers, helping to solve their most complex design and business challenges. Working closely with internal sales staff and clients, His duties include developing software customization's to meet customers’ workflow requirements, providing technical support for all Autodesk Manufacturing products and facilitating training of all supported software.

Brian has extensive experience providing consulting services, facilitating product demonstrations, performing engineering and manufacturing department process analysis, as well as providing product training, implementation and technical support.
